Revitol Stretch Marks

There seems to be a book of "secret tips and remedies" for all kinds of health related issues. I decided to compile a master list of secrets dealing with removing stretch marks. I have not tried any of the recipes so please use at your own risk.

- Lavender Oil - Apply Directly to the stretch marks 3 times a day.

- Aloe Vera Gel - Rub into area before going to sleep.

- Zinc - Eat seeds and nuts containing zinc.

- Aroma Oil - Massage into stretch marks.

- Vitamin E Capsules - Break open and smear onto affected area 2 times a day.

- Apricot Scrub - Rub into affected area. This scrub will help to remove old dead skin cells, letting new skin cells - grow in its place.

- Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Apply directly to the affected area.

- Cocoa Butter - Apply 2 times a day.

- White Vinegar - Massage area. White vinegar strips away the top layer of skin, and restores your skins PH balance.

Secret Recipe 1 - 7 drops lavender oil, 3 drops chamomile oil, 1 ounce carrier oil (avacado, almond or jojoba oil)

Secret Recipe 2 - 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup Aloe Vera gel, liquid from 6 vitamin E Capsules, liquid from 4 vitamin A capsules. Place in refrigerator. Apply directly to stretch marks.

Secret Recipe 3 - 1/2 cup cocoa butter, 1 tablespoon wheat germ oil, 1 teaspoon apricot kernel oil, 1 teaspoon vitamin E oil, 2 teaspoons grated beeswax. Heat mixture until beeswax is melted. Store in airtight container. Apply directly 2 times a day.

Stretch Marks Itch and Burn!! What do I do?

All of a sudden my baby dropped (37 weeks) and I am getting these huge strech marks/gouges. I'm not normally the type of woman who cares too much about petty aspects of appearance, but these strech marks seem DEEP, and they itch and burn sort of like a sunburn. I have used Lanisoh, Burt's Bees Gardner Hand Cream, anti-itch cream, coconut oil, Udderly Smooth - nothing really takes the itch and burn away. What have you done that has worked?

Well... if they itch you can't scrach them...... you have to massage them with cream... The best cream is the Cocoa Butter Formula for pregnancy, I don't know if you did but you had to use it since you find out you were pregnant to reduce the risk of strech marks... I didn't get any...... And the last weeks of your pregnancy is when they more appear.. so massage them or scratch them softly but with your shirt on, in top of your shirt, not directly to skin.... Good look!!! and get some sleep because what is about to come is hard....
